Broadband or eSIM – which one do I need?

Broadband is internet for your home or office; eSIM is mobile data for your phone. Here's how to choose.

Updated 29 October 2026

SkyPro Internet sells two products. You buy them separately, and many customers use both.

  • Broadband is internet for a place. It stays at your home or office and gives Wi-Fi to every device there.
  • eSIM is data for your phone. It goes wherever your phone goes, in Nigeria or abroad.

Quick questions to help you decide

  • Will many people or devices use it at the same address? Choose broadband.
  • Are you travelling, or do you need data on the move? Choose eSIM.
  • Both? Get both. They work well together, and you manage them in the same SkyPro Internet app.

Good to know

  • Broadband only works at the address where it's installed. If you move, you'll need to move your service.
  • Broadband is currently available only in Abuja. If you live outside Abuja, an eSIM is the option for you.
  • eSIM doesn't need a coverage check. Broadband does: check your address first.
