How to set up calling in the app
Verify a phone number you own with a code, and it becomes your number on the SkyPro Internet calling network.
To use calls, you verify a phone number you already own, for example the number on your SIM. That number becomes your number on the SkyPro Internet calling network: other app users reach you by dialling it.
You may be asked to do this when you create your account. You can skip it and do it later.
Verify your number
- Open the SkyPro Internet app.
- On Home, tap the card at the top that shows your current service, and choose Calls.
- Follow the steps to add your number. Enter the phone number you want to use.
- We send a code to that number by SMS or WhatsApp.
- Enter the code in the app.
Your number is now verified. Anyone on the network can call you on it, and you can call them for free.
Good to know
Button names can change when the app is updated. If you can't find Calls, update the app to the latest version.
Allow the microphone
The first time you make or answer a call, your phone asks for permission to use the microphone. Allow it, or the other person won't hear you.
Someone else already has my number
A number can belong to only one account. The person who holds the SIM can always verify it: if you verify a number that's on another account, it moves to your account, and the other account is told.
Important
Never share the code you receive with anyone. Anyone who has it could take your number on the network. See never share your OTP or password.
