Most phones released from 2019 onwards support eSIM. Check yours before you buy.
Phones that usually support eSIM
- iPhone XS and newer
- Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer
- Google Pixel 3 and newer
Other brands and models may support eSIM too. Use one of the checks below to be sure.
Three ways to check
- The SkyPro Internet app. Open the app on the phone you want to use. If your phone supports eSIM, the app shows "This phone supports eSIM".
- The compatibility checker on skypro.ng. Go to skypro.ng, open eSIM, choose "Check if your phone supports eSIM" and type your phone model.
- Your phone's settings. On many phones, the mobile or cellular settings show an option to add an eSIM if it's supported.
Good to know
Some phones bought from a network carrier abroad are locked to that carrier. A locked phone may not accept a SkyPro Internet eSIM even if the model supports eSIM.
My phone doesn't support eSIM
You can still stay connected with SkyPro Internet home or business broadband, which gives Wi-Fi to every device at your address. See Broadband or eSIM: which do I need?
