Only one device isn't working

Everything else is online but one phone, laptop or TV won't connect. Quick fixes for that device.

Updated 29 October 2026

If your other devices are online and only one has a problem, your SkyPro Internet connection is fine. The issue is with that one device. Try these steps in order, testing after each one.

1. Turn Wi-Fi off and on

Switch Wi-Fi off on the device, wait 10 seconds, and switch it back on.

2. Restart the device

Turn it fully off and on again. This fixes many problems.

3. Forget the network and join again

  1. Open Settings, then Wi-Fi.
  2. Tap your Wi-Fi name (or the (i) or gear icon next to it).
  3. Tap Forget or Forget this network.
  4. Choose your Wi-Fi name again and type your password carefully.

4. Check a few settings

  • Airplane mode is off.
  • VPN apps are turned off. A VPN can stop the internet working.
  • The device's date and time are set to automatic.
  • On phones, mobile data isn't the only thing switched on.

5. Move closer

Try the device next to the router. If it works there but not in its usual spot, it's a Wi-Fi coverage issue. See Weak Wi-Fi in some rooms.

6. Update the device

Install any pending software updates, then restart it.

Tip

Recently changed your Wi-Fi password? Every device needs the new password. See How to connect a device.

If the device still won't connect when every other device works, it may need help from the device maker or a phone repair shop.
